this is the original photo. I just really liked the contrast of colours, sea and the sail boat.
this is the photo altered by sumopaint. I played with this one and I don’t really like the result but it was interesting.
I just cropped the sail boat out because I wanted the focus on the flowers.
Nice photo; especially applicable to Vancouver Island this winter. Not being a very visual person, I am trying to think of a way to incorporate more image related and detail specific tasks with photos into my way of thinking. As an English teacher, symbolism is the most immediate thing I can think of with a direct relation to visuals. But, not sure how to work it into learning objectives in a more meaningful way.
