I changed the presentation somewhat. I did not understand exactly what I was supposed to do and now I believe I do. I have added some more audio and included some of the videos I made before. I hope that is appropriate.
My reasoning with creating this lesson was to use the information my adult learners already have from life experience and one semester in theory and practicum experience in hospital settings to encourage them to be creative in presenting information to their peers and change their approach in caregiving from a hospital-focus to a homecare focus. The safety concerns in the activity are some they may face in home caregiving and I want them to be able to think critically about their role and actions in that setting.
Malcolm Knowles states that adult learners take in information and process it differently.
Previous experience is used to create know meaning and encourages learning
The focus of learning changes to a problem-solving approach
Motivation and readiness to learn increases with maturity
Adult learners need to know why they are doing an activity and what they will learn from it or they will not engage in the experience
We will begin to work on this together and it will be due in 3 weeks.
Below is the lesson I in which I would like the students to engage.

I tried to download some tunes and then a chapter from a book and I couldn’t get it to work. (frustration)
I ended up editing an MP3 audio that I made for my digital storytelling course. I’m sure there’s a better way to do it but I tried for about 4 hours and then gave up. The top one is the original and then 2nd one is much shorter. It is the one where I edited a good chunk of it out.
