Hi all,

I recognize a few names and appreciate the comments/feedback and help I’ve gotten in the past. I am looking forward to this course and interacting with you all too.

I teach adults at a university in healthcare so most of my approach is from that viewpoint. If you want to contact me my e-mail is:

    Hi Susan,
It’s nice to meet you and I look forward to joining you and the most recent EDDL cohort. I look forward to learning about your experiences teaching adults. I work in a secondary school environment, but provide professional development for fellow secondary school teachers on blended and e-Learning and find that teaching educators requires a different perspective.
    Cheers, Sasa

Hi again Sue- My wife who is a nurse was very intrigued about your professional roles- she is a public health nurse who does client care plans and chronic disease management that sometimes involves a teaching role. I always tell her what a great teacher she would make!-

      Hi Derek,
I’m glad to hear you have a nurse in the family. I did home care for about 6 years a few years ago. I have enjoyed all the different types of nursing I’ve done. Teaching is definitely interesting. The focus is more on presenting the information about 3 different ways because the students all learn so differently.
      Take care,
      Sue
